Army holds medical camps in CCpur, Bishnupur

As part of its ongoing effort to provide relief and medical support to local communities, the Indian Army, in collaboration with district medical authorities, organised medical camps in the Churachandpur and Bishnupur districts on November 29 and 30, 2024, respectively.
On November 29, a medical camp was held at T Kananphai village, Saidan, Churachandpur district, catering to residents of Saidan and neighbouring villages.
The camp, conducted in collaboration with District Hospital, Churachandpur, featured a dedicated team comprising an Indian Army medical officer, a female medical officer, a gynaecologist and blood testing facility from Churachandpur District Hospital.
The attendees received detailed health check-ups, and a medicine counter was set up to distribute essential medications free of charge, along with any specific medical assistance as prescribed.
A total of 437 locals benefited from the camp.
The following day, on Saturday, a similar medical camp was organised in the community hall of Saiton Bazaar, Bishnupur district, and a medical officer from Indian Army provided check-ups and medical assistance to all attendees.
A medicine counter was also set up at the camp, offering free medicines.
The camp saw a turnout of 376 locals.
Together, the two camps provided medical services to 813 individuals across all age groups, underscoring the Indian Army's steadfast commitment to community welfare.
These initiatives highlight the Army's proactive role in delivering timely and essential healthcare, fostering healthier and safer environments for local populations.
