National Conference, Seminar begin at Manipur University

The 3rd National Conference on "Emerging challenges in the frontiers of Chemical Sciences" began today at the auditorium of Manipuri University, Canchipur.
The 3 days long conference was organised by the Department of Chemistry, Manipur University in collaboration with Manipur University- Chemistry Alumni Association.
The inaugural function was graced by Prof N Lokendra Singh, Vice Chancellor, Manipur University; Prof Sumitra Phanjoubam, Dean, School of Mathematical & Physical Sciences, Manipur University; Prof N Rajmuhon Singh, former Vice Chancellor, Dhanamanjuri University; and Prof N Rajen Singh, Head, Department of Chemistry, Manipur University as presidium members.
As part of the function, an abstract book was also released.
Moreover, the Department of Philosophy, Manipur University also organised a 2-day national seminar on "Dialogues on values: Indian and Western perspectives" at the Court Hall of Manipur University today.
The seminar was conducted under the sponsorship of the Indian Council of Philosophical Research, New Delhi.
The inaugural function was graced by Prof N Lokendra; Prof Salam Shyamkishore Singh, former Dean, School of Humanities, Manipur University and Prof N Pramodini Devi, Dean, School of Humanities, Manipur University as presidium members.
