Trevi Hospital opens super speciality OPD

In a move to enhance healthcare facilities in the state, Delhi's Fortis Hospital (Basant Kunj) has opened a super speciality OPD at Trevi hospital, Langol Laimanai.
The super speciality OPD was inaugurated in a function held at the private hospital on Tuesday in the presence of specialist doctors of Fortis hospital and doctors and staff of Trevi hospital.
Flanked by Fortis Hospital specialist doctors, chairman cum managing director Dr RK Bikramjit Singh told media persons that Trevi Hospital endeavours to fill up healthcare lacunae in Manipur and expressed delight that the hospital has managed to upgrade cancer care facilities and kidney dialysis now.

Trevi hospital has also partnered with Delhi's Fortis hospital to provide world class medical technologies and service to the people of Manipur.
This collaboration will address the need to go outside for treatment and thus help in mitigating financial burdens, he said.
According to Dr Bikramjit, OPD at Trevi hospital will now have services and facilities related to gastroenterology, urology, nephrology and kidney transplant, orthopaedic and joint replacement, kidney surgery and GI surgeries apart from confiding that more super specialities OPD will be introduced.
Fortis hospital's kidney transplant and nephrology principal director Dr Sanjeev Gulati also appealed to the people of Manipur to avail service and facilities made available at the super speciality OPD of Trevi hospital and expressed hope that the hospital will provide world class treatment to the people of Manipur.
Fortis hospital's facility director Dr Gurbind Kaur also said that the problem faced by the people of Manipur in going outside for medical treatment will be eased now with the opening of super speciality OPD at Trevi hospital with the support of Fortis hospital.
She said that super specialists from Fortis hospital will be sourced to Trevi hospital to ensure continuous service to the people of the state.
