Governor leads in extending Christmas greetings

Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya and different Ministers have conveyed their Christmas greetings to the people of Manipur.
The Governor, in his message, said that Christmas is the most important festival of Christians anywhere in the world.
Saying that Jesus Christ was the apostle of peace, the Governor congratulated Christian missionaries for the massive expansion of educational institutions, hospitals and humanitarian services.
Education Minister Th Basanta Kumar, said that Christmas is a time of love, hope and togetherness.
"This festive season, let us reflect on the values that bind us together and strive to spread joy and kindness to those around us," the Minister said.
Saying that Christmas is a time to extend the hands of friendship, heal wounds and build bridges of understanding and cooperation, he prayed for Christmas to bring peace, happiness and prosperity to every household.
MAHUD Minister Y Khemchand, while extending his greetings and prayed for the festival to bring a strong sense of peace and brotherhood based on the teaching of Lord Jesus Christ.
Health Minister Dr Sapam Ranjan also greeted the people on the occasion.
He urged everyone to prioritize their health and well-being and strive to create a healthier and united Manipur.
"May this Christmas be the time for reflection and renewal leading to a peaceful and happier life for all," he prayed.
Koren (Koireng) Youth Organisation, Manipur and Zeme Council, North East India also greeted the people on the eve of Christmas.
