JCRE signs MoU with Japan's MEGA Group for job creation

Imphal, July 28 2025:
JCRE Group, representing Manipur and India, on Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Japan's MEGA Group to facilitate training and employment opportunities in Japan for youth from Manipur and Northeast region.
The agreement signed at Shiroi Hall of Imphal Hotel by The Classic, aims to address japan's declining working population by preparing Indian youth, particularly from the Northeast, for skilled employment in the hospitality, healthcare, and IT sectors.
JCRE Group will provide skill development and Japanese language training at its centres in Imphal, Guwahati, and Delhi.
Upon successful completion of the programme and proficiency tests, MEGA Group will facilitate their placement in Japan.

MEGA Group director Shimizu Ran; JCRE Group CEO L Niranjan; Mega Miral India Pvt Ltd director Sanjay Gautam; Mega Miral India Pvt Ltd assistant director Kawai Haruka; and MEGA Group manager Chiba Hironori attended the event as presidium members.
JCRE Group general manager Adhikarimayum Sushanta said that the initiative is designed to create a pathway to employment for local youth without imposing any financial burden.
Trainees will not be charged fees, and the organisations will manage visa processing, cover flight costs from Imphal to Tokyo, and provide one month of accommodation in Japan.
Currently, around 30 youths are undergoing training at JCRE Imphal centre.
Their training will conclude in December, after which they will appear for the required tests before travelling to Japan for employment under the arrangement.
Speaking at the event, CEO Niranjan described the signing as a historic milestone not just for the two organisations but for the entire region.
The MoU has been signed for an initial period of three years and is expected to be renewed, he opined.
Reflecting on JCRE's journey, Niranjan said that the firm was floated with the belief that unemployment and underdevelopment in Manipur could be tackled through non-political solutions.
