MLA promises 'Ima Keithel' at Tera bazar

Imphal, February 07 2025: Sagolband MLA RK Imo has announced construction of a new "Ima Keithel" (Women's Market) at Tera Bazar in Sagolband assembly constituency.

The MLA made the announcement on Friday during the foundation stone-laying ceremony for the new building of the Department of Language and Implementation, which will be a G+1 structure, with a multipurpose hall on the ground floor.

In his speech, MLA RK Imo shared plans to reconstruct main roads in the Sagolband constituency into concrete roads, while the inter-village roads will be upgraded to paver-block roads.

He also mentioned that the installation of solar streetlights has already begun in the constituency, alongside several other development programmes.

RK Imo also highlighted that the new Department of Language and Implementation building will enhance the department's facilities apart from providing a multipurpose hall on the ground floor which could be used for hosting various events.
