Youth Parliament on 'One Nation, One Election' held

Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and NSS Unit of South East Manipur College (SEMCO), Komlathabi conducted a District Level Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament 2025 for students/youth of Chandel and Tengnoupal districts aged 18 to 25 years at the seminar hall of the college on Thursday.
The youth parliament held under the topic 'One Nation, One Election: Paving the way for Viksit Bharat' was participated by Roshni Nula, Sk Jilihring, Tongsin Phowlnihring, Olyvia Khiang, Hranglim Aloesni, SK Dartha and Shongshir Joyful Monsang for Chandel district and Hetneiching Samte, Nengzoumawi Gangte and Sandhya Malik for Tengnoupal district.

They will now represent their respective districts at the State Level Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament 2025 to be held at Manipur State Assembly Secretariat, Imphal on March 26 on the topic '75 Years of the Indian Constitution: A Journey of Rights, Duties and Progress and 'the 11 Sankalp of Samvidhan Divas: A pledge to Strengthen India's Constitutional Values', a release by SEMCO NSS programme officer Dr Ngamthen Serbum Moyon said.
The event was also attended by Wisecrabs, Chandel president Ts Mhanthung Anal; Moreh College Political Science Department assistant professor Dr Manglien Gangte; SEMCO, English Department head Roel Anita Moyon; Political Science Department assistant professor Eshavicky Ngoru; and United College, Chandel Political Science Department assistant professor Parpa Rengir Chothe as jury members, while Chandel SDC/BO-DC Promilata Monsang Wanglar was the special guest.
