Rituals conducted for victims of violence

Imphal, January 03 2024:
Rajarshi Bhagyachandra Cultural Foundation performed Bhagavad Path and Sankirtarta for all those killed in the ongoing violence since May 3, 2023 so that their souls rest in peace in the heavenly abode.
Apart from paying floral tributes, members of the foundation and locals also observed two minutes' silence for the departed souls during the Bhagavad Path and Sankirtana, which was held for restoring peace and normalcy.
Regarding ritual ceremony held at foundation's office at Sega road Thouda Bhabbk Leikai on Wednesday, spokesperson Takhellambam Irabot said the foundation was able to serve Manipuris residing outside the outside the state during COVID-19 pandemic and also conducted all-religion prayer for restoring peace and normalcy amidst the violence.
The foundation had also extended help to displaced people and village volunteers, he said adding that the foundation organised the programme to honour all those killed in the violence by performing Bhagavad Path and Sankirtana.
Later, a calendar of the foundation for the year 2024 was also released.
