Free medical camp, vaccination field

Kangpokpi, May 04 2017:
A free medical camp was held at Kangchup Chingkhong and Kangchup Chiruby Medical Department of Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council, Kangpokpi.
The camp was conducted to meet the immediate health needs of the poor people living in remote areas of Kangpokpi district by pro- viding free medical examination/check-up Altogether, more than 300 patients from Kangchup Chingkhong and Kangchup Chiru and its surrounding villages participated in the camp.
Medicines were also distributed to the patients free of cost under the supervision of Medical Officer, SHADC-Kangpokpi Dr Brajamani Singh.
Meanwhile, many animals have been vaccinated by the Veterinary Department of Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council, Kangpokpi in Tumnoupokpi and Kalapahar areas since the past week.
The vaccination drive was conducted under the supervision of Veterinary Officer, SHADC-Kangpokpi Dr John Meigai.
Around 300 cattle, 30 pigs, 50 dogs, 120 goats and 1029 chicken and ducks were vaccinated with anti-rabies, BQ, HS and FMD.
