Taragi Cheisu to form joint body & common platform

Taragi Cheisu held a 'Khwai Tara' meeting of different civil society organisations, Meira Paibi lups and clubs to forge unity and integrity, at Yumnam Huidrom on Saturday.
The meeting adopted a resolution to form a joint body and build a platform to deal with common minimum issues together.
Addressing the media at Taragi Cheisu's office in Khurai Ahongei on Sunday, chairman Khaidem Mani said that the meeting was attended by representatives of around 52 organisations, including COCOMI, AMUCO, FOCS, PPCM, STDCM, IPOM and others.
During the meeting, lack of coordination and communication between different organisations with regard to the prevailing issues in Manipur, owing to different ideologies and objectives were discussed and clarified.
The need for all to work together to deal with common minimum issue was stressed during the meeting, he conveyed.
He continued that at the end of the meeting, it was decided to form a joint body and a platform to discuss such issues.
In this regard, Taragi Cheisu will try to form the body as soon as possible, he said, while appealing to all those absent from the meeting due to unavoidable circumstances to share their suggestions to Taragi Cheisu.
