Imphal, March 07 2025: Amid paper leak controversy and arrests, the High School Leaving Certificate Examination 2025 wrapped up today with 37,052 students appearing for the last Mathematics paper across 155 exam centres in the State.

Students from Government, aided and private schools, totalling 949, sat for the exam which began on February 19 conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM) .

On the last day, a BOSEM team led by Chairman Akham Joykumar and BOSEM Observers inspected exam centres in Kakching district.

The BOSEM team went into the classrooms and performed body checks on suspicious students.

Speaking in this connection, A Joykumar informed that the team did not encounter any questionable incidents during the inspection.

Despite some disruptions occurring during the HSLC Exam 2025, he thanked the District Administration, Police Department, exam centres, SOs, OCs, ASOs, SIs, invigilators, student organisations, teachers, guardians and CSOs who helped to make sure the exam was conducted smoothly.

During the Class X examinations, BOSEM inspection teams, student volunteers and ZEO teams conducted widespread checks across the exam centres in the valley in a bid to ensure that examination guidelines are followed.

Similarly inspection teams also carried out checks at the exam centres in the ten hill districts with the help of Nodal Officers.
