AR celebrates 190th Raising Day at CCpur

Imphal, March 25 2025: Assam Rifles celebrated the 190th Assam Rifles Raising Day celebration at Churachandpur District on Monday by commemorating the unflinching dedication and commitment of the martyred soldiers, veterans and the serving soldiers of Assam Rifles & Indian Army and their families.

The event was attended by War Veterans, Ex-servicemen, Veer Naris, serving soldiers & their families of Assam Rifles as well as Indian Army.

A general awareness lecture on pay and allowances was conducted by Assam Rifles.

Officials from banks, Civil Administration and Aadhar Center established kiosks at Khuga village for easy and seamless grievance redressal of the Veterans, serving soldiers and Veer Naris and families.

A medical camp was also established for the veterans and families to include children to facilitate basic healthcare to them.

The event culminated with the felicitation of 1971-72 War Veterans and Veer Naris with a overwhelming response from the soldiers and their families.

A nostalgic atmosphere prevailed while addressing their dedication towards Nation inspiring younger generation.
