Dr Ranjan launches medical helpline service 104

Imphal, March 12 2024:
Health minister Dr Sapam Ranjan launched 104-Meeyamgee Hakshelgidamak (medical helpline service), a joint initiative of National Health Mission and Hadron Techs, in a function held at the conference hall of IT Park, Mantripukhri on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Ranjan expressed confidence that opening the call centre will provide valuable services in healthcare sector.
He advised the staff of the Centre to be polite and thorough to patients while attending the call.
The Centre, will not only provide information related with health conditions but also schemes related with healthcare.
People from across the state can call the centre, which will function round-the-clock, he said.
The minister also launched the official website of the service www.104.helplinemanipur.in.Hadron Techs chairman Elangbam Sobita said that only customers of Airtel and BSNL can call the Centre as of now while Jio users will be able to avail the service within a couple of days.
NHHM Manipur state mission director Dr Somorjit Ningombam and health services director Dr O Sanahanbi were also present at the event.
