District Administration Senapati organises painting competition

Senapati, March 07 2025: The District Administration, Senapati in collaboration with District Programme Officer (DPO), ICDS Cell, Senapati and One Stop Centre, Senapati organized a Wall Painting Competition on commemoration of 10th years of Beti Bachao Padhao (BBBP) scheme today at around Astro Turf Ground, Senapati.

Altogether, 3 students each from 10 schools participated in the Wall Painting Competition today under the theme, "Empowering India's Daughters" as part of the activities to raise awareness about the importance of Girl Child education and the need to promote gender equality during the BBBP campaign.

Winners of the wall painting competition will be felicitated on International Women's Day.

It may be mentioned that various activities such as rally; plantation drive; awareness programme on menstrual hygiene for adolescent girls, gender sensitization of boys and men, discrimination of girl child, PMMVY, drive on PCPNDT Act and Mental health; and capacity building session of frontline health workers on PCPNDT/MTP Act in convergence with Health department were conducted since the launching of BBBP campaign on January 22, 2025 .
