CRPF's Civic Action Programme continues

As part of its continuous efforts to reinforce relations between the Force and the local population, 152 Battalion, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) organised a Civic Action Programme at Khongnagpokpi village, Imphal West district today.
As part of the initiative, a new borewell was constructed and dedicated to the villagers to provide a reliable source of drinking water to Khongnagpokpi and nearby areas.
The initiative holds special importance as the village previously lacked a proper and consistent water supply facility, causing hardship to local residents, especially women and children.
The newly installed borewell will therefore greatly benefit the local population by improving daily access to safe water and ensuring better sanitation and hygiene conditions, said a release issued by CRPF.
The programme was graced by H Premjit Meetei, DIG Range Imphal, CRPF as the chief guest.

Speaking on the occasion, H Premjit highlighted the role of CRPF in maintaining security while simultaneously promoting community welfare and development in Manipur.
Rakesh Ranjan Tiwari assured that CRPF stands firmly with the people of Manipur and will continue efforts to restore peace and normalcy in the region.
He mentioned that such Civic Action Programmes act as a vital bridge between the Force and the local community, fostering mutual trust and cooperation.
The villagers and local authorities of Khongnagpokpi expressed heartfelt gratitude for the welfare initiatives of the 152 Bn CRPF .
