Thoubal, March 07 2025: The lamp lighting and oath taking ceremony of the 4th batch GNM nursing students of GNM Training School, Thoubal and the 9th batch of GNM nursing students of GNM School of Nursing, Churachandpur was held today at Wangbal Community Hall, Thoubal district.

The event organised by the Principal and staff of the schools were attended by Health Services, Director Dr Chambo Golmei as chief guest, CMO Thoubal, Dr Y Nokul Singh as president and Thoubal District Hospital, Medical Superintendent, Dr W Ruhinikumar, Manipur Nursing Council, Registrar, A Jamuna Devi and GNM Training School, Thoubal principal, N Memchoubi Devi as guests of honour.

Speaking at the event, Dr Chambo Golmei urged the students who are stepping into the nursing profession to work with compassion and dedication while serving the patients.

As part of the event, position holders of the training institutes were also felicitated.

The oath taking ceremony was administered by N Memchoubi, principal of GNM Training School, Thoubal.
