Army issues notice for Agniveer job

Imphal, March 27 2025: The Indian Army has invited online applications from unmarried male candidates for recruitment as Agniveers under the Agnipath Scheme for the 2025-26 intake.

Eligible candidates from all districts of Nagaland and Manipur can apply in between March 12 to April 10, 2025 .

According to a release of PRO Defence, the selection process will be conducted in two phases.

In Phase-I, a Computer-Based Written Examination (CEE) will be conducted at designated centres in Nagaland and Manipur with the shortlisted candidates to be included in the merit list for the next stage.

In Phase-II, candidates who qualify the CEE will participate in a recruitment rally.

Details regarding the rally, including specific requirements and guidelines, will be communicated by the Army Recruiting Office (ARO), Rangapahar, said the PRO, while advising the candidates to mandatorily register online at www.joinindianarmy.nic.in to verify eligibility and create a personal profile.

Upon successful completion of the application, candidates will be redirected to the SBI portal to process the examination fee of Rs 250 plus applicable bank charges.

Payment options include debit/credit cards, online banking, and UPI.

Applicants must provide an active email ID and mobile number for official communication, select five preferred examination centres, provide mobile number-linked Aadhaar number for registration.

Candidates can apply for up to two categories, requiring them to appear for separate CEEs due to different exam standards and merit lists.

To assist applicants, category-wise practice links for the online CEE are available on the Join Indian Army website.
