FIDM observes 1st foundation day

Imphal, March 24 2025: The Federation of Indigenous People's Democratic Movement (FIDM) observed its 1st foundation day at Langol Game Village Zone-I today.

The event was attended by Angom Poreiton, Angom Ningthou, Sana Konung as the chief guest; Wahengbam Santa Meetei, president, FIDM as the functional president and Sapamcha Jadumani, president, Federation of Haomee; social activist Sapamcha Kangleipak Thongam Chahiyamba, Shanglakpa, Sana Konung; Thoudam Omi, president, Meira Paibi Langol Game Village Zone-I and social activist Dr Haobijam Gitajen as the guests of honour.

Addressing the gathering, Angom Poreiton, Angom Ningthou, Sana Konung extended best wishes and success in all their social endeavours to FIDM on the occasion of its first foundation.

Lauding FIDM's efforts to promote the indigenous culture, and tradition, he added that other organisations should also follow in FIDM's footsteps.

He also urged the public to unite and work collectively to assess the condition of sacred religious sites in Manipur and figure out ways to upgrade these holy places.
