In the back-drop of the arrest of a fraud who collected a huge amount of money by offering fake appointment letters of RIMS and MU, RIMS has advised the public not to entertain or fall victim to any unofficial recruitment offers or demands for payment in exchange for job placements.
Any recruitment to RIMS, whether permanent, contractual or outsourced, is conducted only through official procedures and recognised Govt platforms, said a press release issued by the Media Cell, RIMS.
Any individual or agency claiming to offer employment at RIMS in return for money is engaging in a punishable offence under the law.
RIMS shall not be responsible for any loss or consequences arising from dealings with such fraudulent sources, it said.
RIMS has also urged the public to remain vigilant and report any such suspicious activities to the nearest police station or directly to the institute.
Official tenders or recruitment notices will be issued through appropriate and verified channels, it said and urged the public to rely only on official communication from RIMS.
Notably, one Kongkham Pradeepkumar (36) s/o Muhindro of Thoubal Athokpam Khunou was recently arrested by police for giving fake appointment letters of various posts at RIMS to 10 job seekers and collecting a sum of around Rs 80 lakh from them.
