Members of CSOs visit patients at Raj Medicity

Members of All Manipur United Clubs Organisation (AMUCO), All Manipur Meitei Pangal United Clubs Organisation (AMMPACO) and Pangal Students Organisation (PSO) visited 10 persons who are undergoing treatment at Raj Medicity today.
The 10 were hurt in the Lilong Chingjao firing incident yesterday.
Members of the organisations met with the injured persons and enquired about their health and conditions.
They also spoke to the doctors urging them to provide best care to the injured persons.
The organisations provided monetary assistance of Rs 5,000 each to the families of the ten.
AMUCO president Pheiroijam Nando Luwang shared the grief and pain of families of four persons who were killed yesterday.
He wished for speedy recovery of the injured persons and urged the Government to provide assistance.
He urged people to maintain calm and not give the incident a communal tinge.
AMMPACO president Rahaman Yumkhaibam condemned the incident in the strongest terms and urged people to not make statements on social media that may hurt sentiments of communities.
