UMPC urges Meitei Pangals not to transport Kukis' goods

Appealing to all fellow Meitei Pangal community members not to transport goods/items of Kukis for some amount of money or as busi ness; United Meitei Pangal Committee (UMPC) Manipur spokesperson Md Raees Ahamad has cautioned that anyone found doing so would be solely responsible for any unwanted consequences resulting from the same.
Addressing a press meet held at Manipur Press Club on Sunday, Raees said that the people are suffering immensely due the prevailing conflict.
Amid this dangerous situation, some Meitei Pangal members have been transporting goods/items of Kukis as a form of business.
Appealing to all Meitei Pangal not to do so, he further urged clubs, organisations and Imams of Masjids to conduct awareness programme in their respective localities and help people understand the seriousness of the situation.
He continued that while the Committee understands and shares the grief and difficulties of all communities, it cautioned all Meitei Pangal members that anyone found acting wilfully will be responsible for any unwanted consequences.
He then urged the Meitei brethren to contact the Committee through 7005622318/9765493896 if any Meitei Pangal is found being disobedient so as to jointly help the individual(s) "understand" the situation.
