Lamlai MLA lays foundation stone for food processing unit

Imphal, December 27 2023: Lamlai AC MLA Kh Ibomcha on Wednesday laid the foundation stone for a Food Processing Unit of Sinthayai Foods under Ema Village Level Federation (VLF) at Oksu Ningthemcha Khul.

Speaking on the occasion, Kh Ibomcha said that VLFs should take a big role in improving the socio-economic condition of the people who have been reeling due to the prolonged conflict.

He shared that Sinthayai Foods has been facing a lot of difficulties due to the lack of a food processing unit despite its products being well liked by the public.

The MLA also assured to provide all possible assistance to other VLFs if they need help and added that his door is always open to discuss projects/ ways to improve the socio-economic condition of the people.
