AR inaugurates waiting shed

The Assam Rifles on February 3.2025, inaugurated a newly constructed waiting shed at Komlakhong in Imphal West district under its flagship Operation Sadbhavana project.
According to a release issued by HQ IGAR(South), the waiting shed, constructed in response to local community needs, provides a vital public utility for travelers and residents, enhancing convenience and safety.
The initiative underscored the Assam Rifles' dedication to infrastructure development aimed at improving the daily lives of the people of Manipur.
The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of about 120 locals, including prominent community leaders such as Meira Paibi Komlakhing president Sushila Devi and secretary Achoubi, Komlakhong Youth Development Association president Samu and secretary Ibohal.
The community members expressed their gratitude to Assam Rifles for its continued efforts in fostering sustainable development.
