Good Governance Week observed

As part of the nationwide campaign "Good Governance Week (GGW) - 'Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore', 2024, the District Administration Kangpokpi observed Good governance week at the DC conference hall, Kangpokpi today.
Speaking on the occasion, Mahesh Chaudhari IAS, Deputy Commissioner Kangpokpi District, emphasized the significance of celebrating the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
He highlighted that this occasion is a reminder, of Atal Bihari Vajpayee contributions towards the development and progress of our nation.
The DC also stressed on the importance of good governance in effective administration and mentioned various initiatives such as e-district and e-service, which are aimed at providing easy access to government schemes for the public.
The Deputy Commissioner highlighted the relentless efforts of the district in providing transparent, efficient, and accountable services to citizens while also efficiently resolving any issues in a timely manner.
The Deputy Commissioner also took the opportunity to emphasize the importance of utilizing technology in improving administrative processes.
As part of this initiative, the Deputy Commissioner personally handed out five laptops to five administration officers, symbolizing the commitment to modernize and streamline government operations.
The event was also attended by Shokhongam Baite MCS ADC/ADM, Hemant Kumar IAS, SDO T Waichong, Lalmminlal Simte MCS SDO Champhai, other district administration officers and DLOs .
