They were said to be members of the United Friendship Organisation (UFO) commonly known as SATJAL, Langthabal Phura Makhong.
Regarding the shifting of throne of the deities, Dewan, the leader of the group said they had shifted the thrones to a gorge nearby the hill top as he was told to do so by the deities in his dream.
He said, deities told him that they no more wanted to stay in the temple and asked him to change their place at the gorge where the five deities use to play.
He only obeyed the order of the deities, he justified before the locals.
They did it for the welfare of the people and feel regret for doing it without prior information to the people, when they performed the act.
An emergency public meeting held at Heingang Awang Leikai discussed the act of shifting the thrones of deities taking that it amount to desecrate the temple and resolved to ban entering of members of SATJAL and take part in the worship to the temple which holds on every Saturday.
The meeting also imposed a fine of Rs 1000 each to the six caught persons.
After the resolution was passed, the six persons still kept in the captivity of the locals were handed over to the elders of the SATJAL who were called to attend the meeting.
It may be noted that there was an instant of desecrating the same temple by breaking the thrones of the deities on May 8 last year 2009 .
