3rd 'International Writers' Meet' award presentation held

Jiribam, December 24 2024: The award presentation of 3rd International Writers' Meet, 2024 was held today at Lakhipur, Cachar district of Assam.

The event held at South Barak Agency Hall, Binnakandi Part II jointly organised by Apunba Khorirolgee Malemgee Lup, Manipur Chanura Khorjei Lup, Cachar, Assam was graced by former Rebel leader, Ningthemcha Sana Yaima, Manipuri Chanura Khoijei Lup, Cachar, president, Soubam Jayanti, Apunba Khorirolgee Malemgi, president Waikhom Amuchou Meitei, Manipur Sahitya Parishad, Lakhipur district branch, president C Mohon Singh, MALA, general secretary, Biren Khumanpu and Playwright, Director & Critic member, Board of Governor, EZCC, Kolkata, Ministry of Cultural Government of India, Budha Chingtham as presidium members.

As part of the programme, Malemai Lup commemorating 78th birth anniversary of former rebel leader Ningthemcha Sana Yaima, presented Wakma Mingthon to Dr Shantibala Salam, Shanbannaba Khoriloi Mana to Engudam Satishchandra for "State Word", Khorilolgee Leichal Mana to Keisham Bijoya for "Lonthoktabee Wakat Che" and Meethoi Thougal Khonga Mingthol to Lairenlakpam Bijenti Devi for "Egee Khonggul.

Meanwhile Moirangthem Romeo Singh of Jiri New Network and Meitankeishangbam Bhopen Singh of Cachar Diary were conferred Journalist award.
