Imphal, September 09 2021: Committee of Civil Societies Kangleipak (CCSK) in a joint effort with the Directorate of Ayush organised an event at Bashikhong Kongba Erong Upper Primary School to distribute facemasks and Ayush medicines.

The function was attended by President of CCSK Jeetendra Ningomba and Ningthoujam Nillo Chanu, President of Women's Welfare Association as Guests of Honour and Vice President of CCSK Saratchandra Thiyam and Athokpam Bimola Secretary General of Women's Welfare Association as resource persons.

The aforementioned items were handed over to Ningthoujam Nillo Chanu to be distributed to the locals by Jeetendra Ningomba, said a press release by CCSK.

N Nillo Chanu expressed appreciation towards CCSK and Directorate of Ayush for their kindness and called upon civil societies to do their part in the battle against COVID-19.Ayush medicines were also distributed to COVID-19 Warriors Team of Kanagabam Leikai and the volunteers of Keishampat Thiyam Leikai Development Committee by CCSK workers.
