Dr Lorho Pfoze visits NPF head office with next MP election in focus

Outer Manipur MP Dr Lorho Pfoze paid a visit to the head office of the Naga People's Front (NPF), Senapati and interacted with the district party workers today.
Speaking at the gathering, Dr Lorho Pfoze called the meeting with the party workers as a privilege and conveyed his hope to turn the district into a model district.
Addressing the internet ban which has been in effect in the whole State for more than 4 months, the MP said that it has tremendously affected students' career, competitive exam aspirants, online workers and even farmers.
The MP stated that the Government of India has been trying its best to install internet facilities even in the most remot areas through direct link to satellite.
The MP also spoke about the importance of improving natural resources that are left unattended in rural areas.
Talking about the next MP election, Dr Lorho Pfoze sought the support of all even in the next election.
Stating that NPF stands for integrity, he urged everyone to stand together on party principles.
With the changing times, the MP maintained that the coming MP election is very crucial and people need to choose their leader very wisely.
With the State unrest still continuing, the MP lauded the Naga CSOs for their wise decision to remain neutral in the conflict till date.
Solomon Veino, working president, NPF, in his speech, expressed willingness to neutralize the party, to bring back all party workers and to reconcile with every party worker to strengthen the party.
NPF is stated to be the only political party who can represent the people and their voice to stand for their rights, he said.
The NPF working president also spoke on how NPF was first brought to Manipur despite many resistances.
While urging all to strengthen the party principle, Solomon Veino urged everyone to sacrifice for the party and for the rights of the people of the region.
It may be noted that with the next MP election getting closer, some party workers also urged everyone to join hands and work together for the party regardless of who gets the party ticket.
The NPF party workers also mentioned that schemes or constructing buildings or bridges are not crucial, but making laws for the people is what counts at this juncture.
Earlier in the day, the MP inspected the District Hospital, Senapati concerning installation of 5G applications for use in healthcare centres including the Primary Health Sub-Centres.
Mention may be made that numerous unfortunate incidents have occured in remote villages every now and then for lack of better health facilities.
To ensure better health facilities, different sophisticated machines are reportedly going to be installed in such health institutions in all 7 North East states.
The inauguration is expected to be held within a day or two next.
