Ukhrul hosts Naga leaders meet

Ukhrul, March 25 2025: The Naga Baptist Leaders Meet commenced today at Union Baptist Church, Ukhrul, hosted by the Tangkhul Baptist Churches Association (TBCA) .

The event is organized under the theme "One Faith, One Lord, One Baptism", with the goal of fostering unity and strengthening the bonds of fellowship among the Nagas.

Thousands of leaders from Nagaland, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Myanmar, and Manipur have gathered for this significant event.

Medowelou Wezah and Mashun Khangrah led the service, with Dr Rampaukoping Michui, Executive Secretary of ZBCC, offering the invocation.

Rev Dr H Gideon, General Secretary of Fellowship of Naga Baptist Associations (FNBA), provided an introduction, while Rev Dr Mathotmi Vasha, Executive Secretary of TBCA, delivered the welcome address.

The presidential address was given by Rev Dr Visor H Zeliang, and greetings were shared by Rev Dr Mar Pongener, General Secretary of NBCC .

A special prayer for Naga leaders was offered by Khontele Seb, President of DBWU .

The congregation was uplifted by soulful performances from the Local Choir and NBCCChoir, along with a spectacular drama presented by Dimapur Ao Baptist Arogo.

An inspirational Sermon titled, One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism was delivered by Rev Ramkhaning Tungshang, Pastor, Dwarka Community Church, Delhi.

The opening day's proceedings concluded with a closing prayer by Rev Alani Shongsir.
