Imphal, December 24 2024: Joining the world in celebrating Christmas, the All Manipur Christian organisation (AMCO) has wished everyone, especially the Christian fraternity, a joyous Christmas celebration filled with love, forgiveness, peace and harmony across the State of Manipur.

The apex Christian body in Manipur appealed to people across all communities to refrain from causing any problems or violence during this holy season, according to a statement issued by Rev L Simon Raomai, president, AMCO.

As Christmas commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ, AMCO encouraged people to let Jesus be born in their hearts and homes in order to experience the true meaning of Christmas.

AMCO also prayed for a peaceful Christmas and New Year celebration as well.
