Imphal, July 18 2024: The Socialist Revolutionary Party (SOREPA) has mourned the demise of its cadre Sharungbam Millan alias Thouba (38) s/o late Sharungbam Nongyai Meitei and Ibeton Leima of Yairipok Yambem Makha Leikai.

According to a press release issued by the outfit's publicity and organisation secretary MC Yaiphabi, Millan alias Thouba expired on July 16 following an illness.

He was the fourth of eight siblings and he left behind two sons.

Millan alias Thouba strictly followed the rules of SOREPA and he participated pro-actively in different battles fought against aggressors in the course of the ongoing crisis.

Saying that the demise of Millan alias Thouba is an irreparable loss for SOREPA, the outfit has mourned and paid revolutionary salute to the departed soul.

It also conveyed solidarity to the bereaved family.
