Imphal, February 07 2025: A new body called Haipei Rani Gaidinliu's Death Anniversary Committee (HRGDAC) was constituted on Thursday with Kadichun Kamei, Rubi Kamson and Lankhonlung Gangmei as its newly constructed HRGDAC, chairman, secretary and secretary finance/treasurer respectively.

As per a release issued by HRGDAC, the primary objective of constituting the HRGDAC is to organize the 32nd Death Anniversary of legendary freedom fighter of India, Rani Gaidinliu at the State Level.

In this regard, all the Zeliangrongpui civil society organisations including, ZU, ZB, ZSUM, KAMA, Zeme, Liangmai, Rongmei and Inpui Councils are requested to send their representatives to be nominated as coopted members of HRGDAC at the earliest, said Meibon Phaomei in a statement.

The committee also urges all authorities concerned including MP, MLAs, ADC Members, Municipal Councilors to be patron members of HRGDAC.

The committee further appeals to all concerned and the general public to cooperate with the HRGDAC so as to make the 32nd Death Anniversary of Haipei Rani Gaidinliu a grand success.
