Mao Maram Hr Sec School celebrates 75 glorious years of educational excellence

Mao Maram Higher Secondary School, Tadubi, celebrated its Platinum Jubilee on Tuesday, marking seventy-five years of dedicated service in the field of education.
The grand celebration commemorated the institution's remarkable journey of seven and a half decades since its establishment.
L Solomon, ZEO, Senapati, graced the occasion as the chief guest.
Held under the theme "Educating Generations," the event began with words of gratitude and reflection from Headmaster Hiriziio Adahe, who paid tribute to the founders, headmasters, teachers, parents, and students for their invaluable contributions to the school's legacy.
He extended special thanks to the parents for their trust and partnership in upholding the institution's mission of quality education.
A Athili Kayina, SMDC, highlighted the vital role of community leaders and civil society organizations (CSOs) in supporting education.
He urged parents to take advantage of government schools and work together to strengthen public education.
In his address, the chief guest lauded the school for producing not only educated individuals but also responsible citizens who have positively transformed lives over the past 75 years.
He noted the steady rise in enrolment and credited the progress to the collective efforts of teachers, parents, and the SMDC.
He expressed optimism that the school would continue to inspire excellence and serve as a model for other government schools in the district.
As part of the celebration, a Jubilee Memorial was unveiled by the chief guest to mark the milestone occasion.
The event witnessed the presence of parents, former staff, retired headmasters, community leaders, and well-wishers.
Students presented a colourful cultural programme featuring songs, dances, and a thought-provoking mime by the Eco Club on the theme "Save Water, Save Life." Other highlights included a short documentary showcasing the school's 75-year journey, felicitation of retired headmasters, and the release of a commemorative souvenir booklet.
