CCpur, February 07 2025: To celebrate the 10 years celebration of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) which commenced from January 22, 2025 and as part of the district level activities, the District Administration, Churachandpur (Sub-Divisional Officers Churachandpur and Tuibong) in collaboration with the Village Authority of Churachandpur district today jointly organised a public rally to raise awareness on issues confronting the girl child, shouting slogans to spread the message of 'Beti Bachao Beti Padhao' with displaying of placards in English and local dialects highlighting the importance of the girl child.

Dharun Kumar S, Deputy Commissioner, Churachandpur flagged off the rally from "Public Ground, Hiangtam and also led the rally which culminated at Peace Ground, Tuibong alongside Lalthazam, CEO (ADCC) and SDO/BDO Churachandpur as well as Thangboi Gangte, Addl Deputy Commissioner, Churachandpur.

The village authorities of Churachandpur numbering approximately around 1500 people particularly from Churachandpur and Tuibong Sub-divisions participated wholeheartedly succeeding in spreading awareness about the importance of education for the girl child.

The event was also attended by members of District Task Force (BBBP), Churachandpur and concerned SDCs along with DLOs .
