Jiribam, March 24 2025: Under the supervision of District Administration Jiribam, the Medical & Health Department, Jiribam today organised a formal launching programme of newly installed Ultrasonography machine and X-Ray machine and a workshop programme on "PC & PNDT Act and Gender Determination" at CHC/District Hospital, Jiribam.

The event was attended by Deputy Commissioner Jiribam, Krishna Kumar (LAS) as the chief guest and SP of Jiribam, Sheikh Mohd Zaib Zakir (IPS), Addl SP (L&O) Jiribam, Thomas Thokchom and Jiribam Municipal Council, Executive Officer M Surjit Singh as guests of honour.

Dr Vinay Prasad Sahu, CMO Jiribam delivered the welcome address and keynote address.

Addressing the gathering, DC Krishna Kumar (IAS) stated that the inauguration of the Ultrasonography machine and X Ray machine at Jiribam District Hospital will enhance the healthcare of Jiribam people.

He also expressed his gratitude to CMO, Dr Vinay Prasad Sahu for his initiative in bringing successfully such healthcare facilities in the district Later a workshop on PC & PNDT and Gender Determination was also conducted attended by the doctors, nurses, ANM, medical staff and others.
