State government has issued an office memorandum with regard to the revision of pay and pension of the employees under the Manipur Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2010 stated that the revision of pay will be effective "notionally" from January 1, 2006 with cash payment from April 1, 2010 .
The office memorandum issued on Wednesday (May 12) which also stated that government is considering for grant of other remaining allowances as government accepted the recommendations of the sixth Central Pay Commission with regard to revision of pay/pension and other allowance accepted by the Government of India.
Classification of post will be based the government orders no 19/3/2010-FD (PIC) issued on May 5, 2010 from grade-D to Grade-A with dearness allowance at the rate of 35% of basic pay with effect from April 1, 2010 as per office memorandum (no.2/6/2010-FD (PIC) issued on May 5 last.
The rate is the same as Central rates of DA, house rent allowance (HRA) @ 10% of basic pay with effect from April 2010 .
The special compensatory (Remote Locality) Allowance which specifies the allowance of Rs 1500 fro grade pay of Rs 5400 and above and allowance of Rs 1200 for grade pay less than Rs 5400 for the state of Manipur, the office memorandum stated.
The same memorandum also stated that the grant of dearness relief @ 35% of basic pension/basic family pension under the Manipur Civil Service (Commutation of Pension) Rules, 2010 will be paid effective from April.
Revision of provisions regulating pension/gratuity/commutation of pension/family pensions/family pension/disability pension of post has also effective from January 1, 2006 notionally with the cash payment/actual benefit from April 1, 2010, it said.
The revision of pension of pre-2006 pensioners/family pensioners will be consolidated with effect from January 1, 2006 notionally with cash payment from April 1, 2010, the memorandum stated.
