Imphal, May 13 2010:
In connection with the turmoil caused by NSCN (IM) General Secretary Thuingaleng Muivah's proposed visit to Manipur and deepening crisis of food shortage resulting from the prolonged blockade on the two NHs, Governor Gurbachan left for New Delhi today in response to a call from the Prime Minister and the Home Minister.
Gurbachan will call on the Home Minister at 3.30 pm tomorrow.
Governor Gurbachan Jagat will meet the Prime Minister at 10.30 am of May 15 .
The Governor may submit a report to the Centre on the situation in Manipur.
