'Nightingale of the Hill' adds another music album

A singer, song writer and music composer of Ukhrul, Theithei Luithui popularly known as Ningtingale of the Hill released her 5th music album "Bum" at a solemn function held at Gravity Viewland Ukhrul yesterday.
Superintendent of Police (SP), Ukhrul Ningsem Vashum officially released the album "Bum" in the presence of SDO, Ukhrul Maibam Suranjoy and music lovers of Ukhrul town.
The high pitched Tangkhul Classical singer Theithei Luithui performed an in-house musical nite with her latest songs and enthralled her fan crowd with enchanting musical displays.
She earned standing ovation from four comers as she strummed her guitar wearing pinkish leather jacket and presented her new number " Have you ever " while her composed Tuisinga, Thuilo, Ningli chuiya etc gave the music lover a memorable night.
She also sang some cover songs of Bruce Springsteen and Don William.
Speaking at the releasing function, DP Ningsem lauded Theithei Luithui for her musical talents and maintained that she is the pride of the community.

Speaking at the sidelines, Theithei Luithui narrated about her passion in music.
She was motivated by folklore and folk songs, she said while adding that her songs are themed on relationships, social issues, freedom, environment etc.
She made her first debut in Tangkhul music in 2010 with her first album " Thingna " and "Bum" was her fifth English music album, she said.
The album has 6 songs composed by herself, of which only one "Dance with me" is a love song while the remaining five songs ( Bum, So long, lonely highway, Have you ever, voices) are anti - violence and hatred happening in the contemporary world, she said.
"My music is fused with folk blues rock, contemporary rock," said the local sensation who continued that her music album will be available in CDs and other formats.
