Imphal, March 20 2025: The 14th death anniversary of Rozer Irom was observed today at the community hall of Ghari Youth Welfare Association at Ghari Makha Leikai.

The ceremony, organised by Rozer Irom Memorial Trust, Imphal and family members, was also accompanied by an award distribution function.

Retd Col Takhelchangbam Robindro Sharma; Ksh Subadani, president, Rozer Irom Memorial Trust and Ch Birendra Singh, former Regional Organising Commi- ssioner, Bharat Scouts & Guides graced the event as the chief guest, functional president and guest of honour respectively.

The gathering paid floral tributes to the photo of Rozer Irom.

Additionally, awards were distributed to the toppers of Class XII exam 2024 in the Science stream.

On the occasion, Rozer's mother Irom Ongbi Chitra Leima stated that the lives of many youths in Manipur have been cut short by gun violence and drug abuse.

Delivering a message calling for the end of such tragic incidents, she further expressed grief over the death of many young people during the ongoing conflict and urged people to unite and save the youth.
