One killed, another injured in accident

Thoubal, July 08 2023: One person was killed and another injured after a Creta car hit an Access scooter at Thoubal Mela - ground Yairipok Lamkhai around 1.30 pm on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Waikhom Bis-worjit (50) s/o (L) Nilo and the injured as Waikhom Go-bin (36) s/o Waikhom Deven, both hailing from Thoubal Achouba Pakhangkhong Leirak.

Gobin is currently undergoing treatment at Raj Medicity.

Thoubal police has regis-tered a case with regard to the incident and the body deposited at JNIMS morgue for post mortem examina-tion.
