Imphal, July 30 2023: Nongpok Pana Apunba Lup (Nongpal), a conglomerate of different clubs and organisations in and around Kongpal Porompat Baruni Road, has submitted a memorandum to the delegation of Opposition MPs who are visiting the State.

The memorandum was submitted urging the MPs to help end the current conflict and restore peace in Manipur.

Notably, the 21 MPs of INDIA, an alliance of Opposition parties arrived here on a two day visit yesterday to assess the present law and order situation and visit people affected by the conflict.

The MPs have visited relief camps in Churachandpur, Bishnupur and Imphal and they have also called on Governor Anusuiya Uikey on the Manipur issue.

In the memorandum submitted to the delegation today, Nongpal urged them to protect Manipur's integrity and the indigenous people, implement National Register of Citizens to identify illegal immigrants and take strict action against narco-terrorists.
