Nasir starred in Baji II win over LKWC by picking up three wickets in three overs and conceding 18 runs in the first match of the 4th Bikram Memorial State Level Tennis Ball Cricket tournament today.
On winning the toss, LKWC opted to bat first and managed to compile a total of 106 runs for 9 in 15 overs.
Nasir was the chief wrecker as he scalped three wickets in three overs at the expense of 18 runs.
Baji II did not falter in the run chase as they managed to reach the target scoring a total of 110 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 11 overs to carve out a 7 wicket win over LKWC.
Nasir was adjudged the man of the match.
The second match was a low scoring affair with MABA registering a resounding victory over Do or Die (Mayang Imphal) by 4 wickets.
Winning the toss, MABA elected to bat and managed to notch up a total score of 73 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 12.2 overs with Rex emerging the top scorer with 17 runs from 10 balls.
Put in to bat, Do or Die (Mayang Imphal) started the run chase cautiously but could not really keep their wickets intact and folded up for 71 runs in 12.2 overs.
Apart from contributing with the bat with a quick fire 17 runs off 10 balls, Rex took one wicket and walked away with the man of the match award.
It was a one sided game in the third match of the day as Bikram 11 defeated Typhon by 118 runs.
Winning the toss, Bikram 11 elected to bat and riding on a whirlwind knock of 73 runs from 30 balls from Jampu managed to compile a score of 174 runs.
Typhon were never in the run chase as they folded up for 56 runs in 9.3 overs.
