Inter personal communication programme

One Day District Level Inter Personal Communication on the Observation of National Rural Drinking Water Awareness Week, organised by District Water and Sanitation Committee, Chandel District in association with Rural Education and Action for Change-Manipur (REACH-M), was held at REACH-M Resource Training Centre Hall, Nungourok Village in Chandel District today.
Ch Ranjit, Member Autonomous District Council (ADC) Chandel was the Chief Guest; Ph Yaima Singh, Superintending Engineer of Planning and Monitoring Circle, PHED Manipur was the Functional President.
While L Swamikanta Singh, Director, CCDU, PHED Manipur ; A Nikunja Singh, Executive Engineer, Chandel PHE Division; Dr Moicha Saka, Medical Officer of Machi Primary Health Centre and Ch Rangeilow Aimol, Range Forest Officer Thoubal were the Guest of honours as well as the Resource Persons respectively.
Ch Ranjit said that the Government has provided water supply schemes to most of the villages but the problem of water scarcity still remain due to dishonesty and insincerity on the parts of contractor of the schemes and the village Chiefs.
