State Rowing Championship Bishnupur District Rowing Association emerge team champions

Bishnupur District Rowing Association have emerged overall team champions of the 1st State Level Rowing Championship was held today at Takmu, Water Sports Complex with 8 gold medals and 1 bronze medal.
The championship was organised by Imphal East District Rowing Association under the aegis of Manipur Rowing Association.
MPSC finished runners up in this championship with 5 gold, 6 silver and 5 bronze medals.
Bishnupur District Rowing Association (BPRDRA) bagged the first medal in the sub-junior girls 500 m single scull event.
H Roshni of BPRA fetched the gold medal with a time of 2: 17.81 seconds while A Sanatombi of IEDRA (Imphal East District Rowing Association) bagged the silver with 3: 05.00 seconds.
H Ichan paired with H Priya added another gold medal for BPRDRA with a time of 2: 20.41 seconds in the sub-junior girls double scull 500 m event.
A Kalpana and N Priya of IEDRA finished second in this event to bag the silver medal with a time of 2: 43.06 seconds.
In the sub-junior girls' coxless pair 500 m event, Meerabai Athokpam and Rabina of IEDRA bagged a gold medal by finishing the course at 2: 36.56 seconds.
In the 500 m single scull event, L Asheskumar of IEDRA bagged the gold medal clocking the course in 2: 32.22 seconds.
Ng Bikram and Telem Jeleo of the same unit bagged another gold medal in the 500 m sub-junior boys double scull event with a time of 2: 30.59 seconds.
Ashish Konjengbam and Asurin Konjengbam added the fourth gold medal for IEDRA in the sub-junior boys 500 m coxless pair event with a time of 2: 14.07 seconds.
In the 1000 m coxless pair event for women, MPSC-A team comprising of L Sonia Devi and K Bijeta Devi clinched the gold medal with a time of 4: 42.53 seconds.
Y Nandeshwori and K Monica of KDRA (Kakching District Rowing Association) bagged the silver medal in this event while Kh Sunita and A Surbala claimed the bronze medal.
In the men's 1000 m coxless pair event, L Ashokumar and N Sanatomba of MPSC-A bagged the gold medal by finishing the course in 4: 07.28 seconds.
MPSC-B and MPSC-C bagged the silver and the bronze medal in this event.
In the 1000 m double scull for women, BPRDRA claimed the gold medal with a time of 5: 16.49 seconds through M Monika and H Roshni.
IEDRA and MPSC finished second and third to win the silver and bronze medal in the event.
In the 1000 m men's double scull event, Joyoishkumar Raha and Kh Nganba Meetei of AR Shillong clinched the gold medal with a time of 4: 13.61 seconds while MPSC-A finished second to claim the silver medal.
In the 1000 m single scull event for women, M Merina of BPRDRA laid her hands on the gold medal with a time of 4: 33.48 seconds while N Jebolata of KDRA claimed the silver medal.
In the men's single scull 1000 m event, BPRDRA added another gold medal through H David who finished the course with a time of 4: 33.48 seconds.
Th Hemanta and S Santosh of IEDRA and BPRDRA bagged the silver and the bronze medal in this event.
H David added another gold medal in the 500 m event of single scull by clocking the course at 2: 11.81 seconds while Th Hemanta of IEDRA and Kh Jotin of MPSC finihshed second and third.
In the 500 men's double scull event, MPSC-B bagged a gold through L Singhajit and S Bishworjit Singh with a time of 2: 11.22 seconds.
MPSC-A bagged the silver medal in this event while IEDRA bagged the bronze medal.
In the 500 m mens coxless pair event, L Ashokumar and N Sanatomba bagged a gold medal for MPSC-A with a time of 1: 57.47 seconds while MPSC-D and MPSC-C bagged the silver and the bronze medal.
In the 500 m coxless pair event for women, MPSC-A bagged the gold medal with the help of L Sonia and K Bijita who completed the course with a time of 2: 16.95 seconds.
MPSC-B and KRA bagged the silver and the bronze medal in the event.
In the 500 m single scull event for women, M Monika of BPRDRA clinched the gold medal with a time of 2: 21.05 seconds while N Jebolata of KDRA and A Sanatombi of IEDRA claimed the silver and the bronze medal respectively.
BPRDRA added the last gold medal through M Merina and H Roshni in the 500 m double scull event for women with a time of 2: 21.86 seconds.
L Ashalata and S Lingranphy of MPSC bagged the silver medal in this event.
