Imphal, December 28 2021: Ngaikhong Khunou Thang-Ta Academy and Little Flower Club jointly felicitated two athletes who brought home gold medals from the recently concluded 27th National Thang-Ta Championship 2021.Nongmaithem Bikash (Sub-junior +53 kg) and Thomash Thokchom (Sub-junior -41 kg) of the Ngakhong Khunou Thang-Ta Academy bagged gold medals in the championship which was held from December 18 to 21 at New Indoor Sports Complex MA, Stadium, Jammu under the aegis of Thang-Ta Federation of India, said the association in a release.

The felicitation programme of N Bikash and Thomash Thokchom, held at Ngaikhong Khunou community hall was attended by Laishram Joychandra, Pukhrambam Thanil Singh and Ningthoujam Gulapi Singh as presidium members, it said.

Both the athletes expressed utmost gratitude to the academy for organising the reception programme and credited their success to the teachers at the Thang-Ta academy and their parents.
