Wushu Sr National coaching camp begins

Wushu senior National coaching camp 2015 for men and women was set into motion today at new Hall of SAI, NERC complex, Takyel.
The inaugural session of the coaching camp, held under the aegis of Wushu Association of India, was attended amongst others by Francis Marwin, Director, SAI-NERC, Imphal; Shambhu Seth, chairman, Judges and Referee Board, Wushu Association of India (WAI), Mayanglambam Biramani Singh, joint secretary, WAI; Suhel Ahmad, general secretary, WAI and K Michael Singh, centre in-charge, SAI, STC Imphal.

A total of 22 Sanshou players, eight Taolu players, five coaches and two physios are participating in the coaching camp.
The Wushu Association of India had conducted the selection trial to finalise the campers on July 1 and 2 .
The participants of the camp will represent India in the coming 5th Pars Cup at Tehran, Iran, 13th World Wushu Championship at Jakarta and 12th South Asian Games at Shillong, according to the organisers.
The camp will be held till July 31 .
