Plate cricket: Sunanda hits ton in IBSA's huge victory against YAC

Moirangthem Sunanda shone with the bat in IBSA (Yumnam Leikai)'s emphatic 155-run success against YAC (Yaiskul) in a Group B match of the 6th MNCA Plate Tournament at Luwangpokpa Cricket Ground on Friday.
Opting to bat, IBSA made batting look easy and posted a mammoth 301/7 in the stipulated 40 overs.
Moirangthem Sunanda, batting at number two, retired hurt after scoring 101 off 102 balls.
The innings also saw notable efforts from Nongmeikapam Komol (44), Rajababu (35), Rajkumar Pritamkumar (28), Robinson Sanasam (23) and Manoj Sahani (21) .
After their sublime batting form, IBSA followed it up with a well-organised bowling attack to bundle out YAC for 146 in31.4 overs.
Rajababu stood out in the attack, racking up figures of four for 15 in his five overs.
David Kangabam did his bit with two scalps as Manoj, Karan Prajapati, Maibam Abdul Wakil and Rajkumar Pritamkumar took one wicket apiece.
Abocha Laishram scored 57 off 58 balls for YAC but his effort proved too little.
Earlier, Joychandra Nagngom claimed four wickets, Huidrom Guneshwor bagged two and lohn Oinam took one for YAC.
Moirangthem Sunanda got the man of the match award for his 101 off 102 balls.
KIYC will clash with RRCC on Saturday.
