Training on advanced business planning held

A training programme on advanced business planning of Farmers Producer Companies jointly organised by Garden Care and Institute of Cooperative Management (ICM) was held on Wednesday and Thursday at the conference hall of ICM Lamphelpat, here.
ICM director K Joychandra, Garden Care project manager Indra Khuman and ICM programme coordinator Khoichung Rangamalian attended the opening ceremony as presidium members.
Speaking on the occasion, K Joychandra expressed that training for FPCs based in Tamenglong district will help in improving their economy, which will further help in improving agriculture sector and economy of the state.
He also spoke about the various initiatives taken up by MOMA due to which farmers are no longer facing difficulties in finding market for their products.
The Centre instructed the state to form 10,000 FPCs and many such FPCs have been formed, he said, while mentioning about financial support provided by the Central government to FPCs through different schemes, which the FPCs need to understand.
