Manipur emerge team champions of KI Women's Wushu League

Manipur were crowned overall team champions of the Khelo India Women's Wushu League (North East Zone) as the four-day competition for sub-junior, junior and senior athletes wrapped up Friday.
The state team collected 87 medals over the course of the competition.
Manipur's medal haul included 33 gold, 21 silver and 33 bronze, earning them 261 points for the overall championship title.
K Ichal (45kg), P Thoicha (48kg), N Privadashni (52kg), H Pravabati (56kg), N Rosibina (60kg), Th Dolly (65kg), E Italy (70kg) and M Sharmila (75kg) won gold medals (san-da event) for Manipur on the closing day.
Assam came a distant second with 111 points courtesy of their six gold, 20 silver and 21 bronze medals.
Arunachal Pradesh got 36 points to settle for the third place.
They bagged four gold, three silver and seven bronze medals.
