State eves made a clean sweep of the women open category by winning all the top three position of the 6th North East Zone Sports Climbing Competition 2004 being organized by Manipur Mountaineering and Trekking Assn at Minuthong.
Ph Shantirani secured the first place reaching the top of the wall with a time of 3.13.44 sees while her compatriot Khumanthem Dasini bagged second place with 28 hole with a timing of 2.31.25 sees.
State climber Langpoklakpam Keinatombi secured the third spot with 22 hole with a timing of 4.59.36 sec.
In the junior boys, six state climbers have been qualified for the final round.
They are Leishangthem Imo Meetei, Mayanglambam Shymson, Laishram Surendro, Thongam Ranjan Meetei, Ahongshaugbam Rajpal and Oinam Chingshanglapka.
Five state junior girls have been qualified for the final round with the exception of lone Meghalaya's climber Wansuk Myrthong who was placed six in the semi final.
They are S Debala, Shehnaz, Khongbantabam Rina, Amom Bijeya and Sapam Sunita.
In the semi-final, S Debala scaled the top of the wall with a timing of 2.56.09 sec.
Both the finals will be played tomorrow.
